Shaughnessy Construction was established in 1984 and we’ve been going strong ever since. Born and raised on Camano Island, Gene Shaughnessy, owner of the company, has a strong commitment and love for this community. 36 years ago, work mostly consisted of decks, remodels and small additions. Over the years the business has grown into many custom homes that you can see throughout the Island. Gene is known for his integrity in business, his easy going, friendly personality and most of all, the quality of the work he produces. While most of his work now consists of custom homes, he still enjoys doing additions and remodels as well.
